HOW TO SPECIFY

Five things that decide the configuration.

Most enquiries that stall do so because these five points were never settled. Sending them with the first message usually shortens the whole process.

Hazardous-area classification
Zone, gas group and temperature class for the area the vehicle will actually work in — not the plant as a whole.
Load and lift height
Heaviest pallet, load centre, maximum lift height, and whether double stacking is required.
Travel surface and aisle width
Floor condition, ramps, gradients, aisle width and the minimum turning radius available.
Power and shift pattern
Battery capacity against shift length, charging access, and whether opportunity charging is available.
Documentation for the market
Which certificate set the destination market requires, and whether it must be issued for a specific configuration.
CASE DISCUSSION

Tell us what the vehicle needs to do.

Operating zone, load, travel distance and workflow are the starting points for a useful technical conversation.
